Home Church Group Structure
Christ’s Disciples Fellowship’s (CDF) Structure:
A CDF comprises believers from Eternal Food Evangelistic Organization (EFEO), who live in the same community, and gather together one or more times on weekly basis as a Church. These believers are derived from established, and growing believers, new converts, and Others seeking to know about Salvation, and how they can become disciples of Jesus Christ.
A CDF typically carries out the following activities:
1. The group meets weekly at a designated home that belongs to a member as agreed upon by all participating persons. One house leader and a house monitor are appointed over each CDF home Church for bible teaching, and house coordination respectively.
2. Meeting is on Sunday for Bible teaching and fellowship from 9.30 am to 11 am. The group discusses pre-assigned Bible reading for the week and church service is presided over by two individuals (The group’s Leader, and House Monitor), for teaching and coordination respectively. Communion is held at the end of bible teaching. (1 Corinthians 11:23-25). Fellowship and Light refreshment take place before the group dismisses Acts 2:41-42
3. Visitation Saturday: Every third Saturday of the last month of each quarter is visitation ministry. All CDFs embark on community visitation events to minister to the needy, lonely, hurting etc.
4. Monthly Joint Evangelistic Outreach (Harvest Feast): All Christ’s Disciples Fellowship (CDF) groups come together once a month for mass evangelistic outreach. The outreach is held at Eternal Food Evangelistic organization designated venue. For more information about Harvest Feast, click here.
